Principal for a Day

Aiden won the raffle for 'Principal for a Day' and was in the hot seat on Friday.

It looks like he had a wonderful time and thanks for the pay rise Mr Holland.

Multiplication Madness

Over the last week or so, we have been doing some multiplication work. We are learning to solve complex problems by making easier ones that we can work out. The slideshow below shows some of our thinking (Its not always correct).

Speeches

Today Pohutukawa Syndicate had its annual speech competition. Three members from Team 15 competed against the other Year Four classes with two placing in the top three. Congratulations to Sarah, Lawrence and Brooke. Here is a picture of the winners.

All members of Team 15 presented speeches and some of us wanted to share them. They all did a fantastic job and I was thoroughly impressed. You can see them below.

Being a Good Classmate

We have been experimenting with a programme called Comic Life.

We decided to create scenarios showing how to act appropriately and be good friends.
